Bob Dylan Center Director Steven Jenkins will discuss the organization’s origins, mission and activities since its opening in May 2022 and looking ahead to the Center’s Fall 2024 season and beyond. Jenkins also will reflect on Bob Dylan’s enduring artistic brilliance and profound impact on culture, evidenced recently by Cat Power’s album and tour commemorating his renowned 1966 performance at Royal Albert Hall.

It houses a vast collection of Dylan’s personal items, recordings, and memorabilia, offering an in-depth look at his creative process and cultural impact.


Speaker Bio
Steven Jenkins serves as director of the Bob Dylan Center, which opened in Tulsa’s thriving Arts District in May 2022 as the permanent home of the Bob Dylan Archive. Previously, Jenkins held senior leadership positions at arts nonprofits in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has written extensively on music, arts and literature for national publications, and is the author and editor of several museum exhibition catalogues.
