Registration is open now for summer camps presented by ArtPlay Community Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
ArtPlay presents award-winning visual arts camps and musical theater camps. ArtPlay’s Musical Theatre Camps provide an opportunity for kids to be part of a full production. Held at the Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center, children get a chance to learn all the ins and outs of the world of musical theatre all while developing a character and rehearsing for a full staged musical production at the end of camp.
Early bird pricing through April 1 May 1 is $840 ($280/week) must sign up for entire program.

No camp June 19 for UAB Holiday. Suggested Rising 2nd-6th grade.

ArtPlay’s Visual Arts Camps are perfect for kids ages 6-12 to have a creative and enriching outlet this summer. Camps will take place in the ArtPlay House.

Ages 6 – 12 | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
This visual arts camp explores the theme “Under the Sea” where kids will create multiple pieces of art exploring sea creatures, nautical themes and mystical mermaids.

–Mini Masterpieces
Ages 6 – 12 | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Mini Masterpieces, two-day mini-camp June 30 and July 1: Kids will enjoy a tiny, enriching mid-summer break and explore the art world’s masters, while exploring the theme of “miniature” artwork.

In this camp kids will take an imaginary around-the-world journey into the arts and explore the arts of a sampling of cultures.
