ACCESSING YOUR CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
You will be required to set up a customer account prior to ticket purchasing. Your account allows you to view your tickets for mobile scanning and to access to virtual content, as well as to receive important updates about the show.

If your question was not answered or you need to request a specific action, please click here to contact a member of the Ticketing Office for anything related to Alys Stephens Center (ASC), Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts (AEIVA), ArtPlay Community Art Education (ArtPlay), UAB Institute for Arts in Medicine (AIM), Alabama Symphony Orchestra (ASO), or UAB Department of Music or Theatre.
Experience the ease of mobile ticketing! You can create and view your account and access your mobile tickets from you smartphone.
We encourage patrons to take advantage of mobile, online, or print-at-home print-at-home ticketing options.
Additional fees will be added to will-call requests and on-site transactions, as well as requests to print and mail tickets.
For on-site transactions, we encourage patrons to use credit/debit cards instead of cash to minimize hand-to-hand contact. The Ticketing Office is open during normal business hours.

Refunds are available only if: (1) the performance, show, or event has been completely canceled by the ASC, ASO, or UAB’s Department of Music or Theatre with no plans of rescheduling or (2) the Patron has purchased Ticketing Insurance to an ASC presented performance. If the request for refund does not fall within one of the aforementioned examples, all sales on tickets for the ASC, ASO, and UAB Department of Music and Theatre are final.
EXCHANGES + REFUNDS
Exchanges and Credits are available only if: (1) the performance, show, or event has been completely canceled by the ASC, ASO, or UAB Department of Music and Theatre with no plans for rescheduling; or (2) the Patron is an Arts Member, ASO Subscriber, or subscriber to the UAB Department of Music or Theatre.
Requests to exchange tickets must be made within 24 hours of a performance, show, or event. The value of the requested exchange must be equal to the value of the original purchased ticket. If there are no shows at equal value, the patron will be required to pay the difference of the ticket. Remaining balances will be donated back as a gift or contribution. Exchanges and Credits are good only for performances, shows, or events during the current production season. If exchanges are not immediately used, they will be converted to an account credit.
At the end of the current season, all unused account credits will be donated back to either ASC, ASO, or UAB Department of Music or Theatre as gifts or contributions. Documentation can be provided for tax purposes at the end of the year upon request.

Children age 3 or under are admitted free. However, if your child will occupy an individual seat, a ticket will be required.
PARKING + DIRECTIONS
Street parking, UAB Zone F lots and Lot 15D located behind AEIVA are available. Weekday parking varies based on the event. Weekday parking varies based on the performance, show or event.
On nights and weekends, park in UAB Zone B lots or the parking deck on the corner of University Boulevard and 12th Street South.
Accessible spaces are in Lot 15D, on 10th Avenue South and the lower circle. Patron drop-off areas are in upper and lower circles. The gated lot is for Arts Circle level and above Arts Members and Corporate Sponsors.

LATE SEATING POLICY
Depending on the performance, late arrivals are a distraction to the artists and audience members. Patrons who arrive late will be seated by an usher at an appropriate time during the performance, show, or event. Please be aware that this may result in missing a portion of the performance. This policy is handled in accordance with contractually binding artists’ preferences. Please allow ample time for travel and parking prior to an event. Lobby doors open two hours prior to an event unless specified otherwise.
Please note: The Ticketing Office will not issue refunds for missed or partially missed performances.
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the published start time.
Depending on the show, performance or event, the use of phone cameras and/or video recording is prohibited. Please adhere to the rules of each specific show or performance in regard to camera phones and/or video recording. Announcements will be made or posted prior to each show, performance or event.
SMOKING + TOBACCO USE
Use of tobacco or smoking-related products is prohibited within all buildings, facilities, vehicles, and spaces (including covered walkways, covered parking, parking lots, commons, parks, and campus greens) that are owned, rented, leased, or otherwise controlled by the UAB and otherwise in accordance with city ordinance. UAB may specifically designate in writing appropriate outdoor areas (if any) that have been approved to accommodate use of tobacco or smoking-related products. Signage will indicate limited areas where such use is acceptable. Littering the campus or surroundings with remnants of tobacco or smoking-related products is also prohibited. Individuals who choose to use tobacco or smoking-related products in designated areas are expected to place remains in proper receptacles.

When you buy your tickets from the Ticketing Office or online at my.alysstephens.org, you ensure that you are receiving the best customer service and the most up-to-date information on performances and seating, and that you are paying fair market value for your tickets. If you’re not buying your tickets from the Ticketing Office whether by phone, in-person, or via ASC Online Ticketing, you could be paying a markup of 400% or more above the actual ticket price.

Gift certificates to ASC-presented events are available in any denomination and redeemable online or at the Ticketing Office. ASC Gift Certificates are not valid for ASO or UAB Department of Music and Theatre shows, performances or events.

Employees may choose to pick up their tickets or use either the mobile ticket delivery or print-at-home option. Tickets are subject to availability and may be limited for select events.

UAB STUDENT TICKETS
ASC offers discounted tickets for UAB students to select events. Student tickets range in price from $10–$20 depending on the event. (Check the performance event page for pricing information.) Tickets may be purchased in person at the ASC Ticketing Office, by calling 205.975.2787, or online upon sign-in with your Blazer ID and password. Each student may pick up only one ticket per performance with a valid Blazer OneCard. (The Blazer OneCard must say “STUDENT” on it.) Tickets are subject to availability and may be limited for select events.
Please note: The Blazer OneCard used for purchase must be presented for entry to the performance, show or event.
BACKPACKS AND LARGE BAGS
Backpacks and large bags are not permitted in the performance halls. Please leave them in your vehicle. The ASC cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur outside of the venues.
