Whether you’re new to journaling or you’ve kept a diary since you were a kid, these lessons will help make your journaling practice more intentional and more impactful. Participants will explore several different journaling techniques and learn how to use their journaling entries as inspiration for compelling stories to be shared with others.
Artist Bio:
Javacia Harris Bowser is an award-winning journalist and author of Find Your Way Back: How to Write Your Way Through Anything. She is the founder of See Jane Write, a community for women writers in Birmingham. Named an Innovator Changing the South by Southern Living and recipient of the 2022 Alabama State Council on the Arts Fellowship for Prose, Javacia’s work has appeared in The Birmingham Times, Good Housekeeping, Shondaland.com, and ELLE. She enjoys Pilates, tacos, Beyoncé, and time with her husband, Edward.
