My wife and I are big fans of David Grisman and were excited to hear that he was coming to the Alys Stephens Center in 2011. We had good seats for the show on the second row. David came out and put on a great show but after every song he kept looking over our way as if he was giving “the eye” to my wife. After four or five songs we both noticed it and chuckled. After the next song David said that there was a special person that he wanted to acknowledge. He looked over our way and introduced his wife who is sitting right behind us. After a big laugh we told David’s wife what we thought was happening and her response was “I thought he was giving you the eye too”. What a fun night. We always have a great time whenever we attend events at Alys Stephens and look forward to many more.
