Brent Thompson – Advisory Board and Patron
I have been an ASC patron and music lover for many years, but my inclusion on the ASC Advisory Board has been incredibly educational and eye-opening. In addition to the great performances I have seen in the Stephens Center’s different venues, I have learned about the outreach programs that the ASC brings into schools, the medical community and the Birmingham community at large. The ASC leadership team and its active patrons share a passion and vision for the arts, bringing familiar, household names to our city while exposing us to artists, performances and creative concepts that would otherwise likely be unknown to us. The ACS is not about complacency and I am excited to be along for the ride as it pursues a creative mission.
