About the Program
Vocabby’s World is a FREE community vocabulary program that began in 2016 through a partnership with the McWane Science Center, supported by sponsorship from the PNC Foundation.
Through the adventures of Vocabby, pre-K learners “travel” around the world while building vocabulary through arts and science integration. Each session features hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
What to Expect
• Interactive experiences combining art, music, and movement
• Hands-on activities that reinforce new vocabulary
• Free books, curriculum support, and art materials
• Opportunities for caregivers to engage and support early learning
Vocabby’s World serves families in Woodlawn, Titusville, and surrounding neighborhoods, creating accessible, enriching learning experiences for the community.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Dane Peterson, petersoe@uab.edu.
(This program meets in the church’s sanctuary)
