UAB Arts in Medicine Presents Workshop: Looking for a Silver Lining: A Photographic Exploration
Join us for a gallery talk led by Sharma, followed by a discussion and workshop that will explore how photography can serve as a powerful coping mechanism during challenging times, particularly when loved ones are faced with life-threatening diseases. Sharma will share her personal story, discussing how capturing moments of her mother’s journey with dementia helped her regain a sense of control and discover beauty in even the most difficult circumstances.
