ASC & ASO Present The Secret Sisters with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra
Prepare for an extraordinary night as country-folk duo The Secret Sisters unite with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra for the very first time! Featuring siblings Lydia Slagle and Laura Rogers, The Secret Sisters are known for their effortless harmonies, sharp songwriting, and deep love of country music’s rich history. From their old-timey roots to the girl group-infused garage-folk of Put Your Needle Down (2014), and their Grammy-nominated LPs produced by Brandi Carlile, the duo has consistently pushed the boundaries of Americana music. Their latest album, Mind, Man, Medicine (2024), showcases their most contemporary sound yet, informed by experiences like motherhood and the pandemic.
For one night only, these incredible artists will join their soulful sound with Alabama Symphony Orchestra conducted by the acclaimed Chris Confessore. Don’t miss this unique blend of Americana and symphonic music—a performance that promises to be as memorable as it is groundbreaking.
