About India Hicks
Hicks has built a career at the intersection of design, storytelling, and humanitarian work. Raised in a creative environment as the daughter of David Hicks, she went on to forge her own path — working across interiors, fashion, and lifestyle for over three decades. She has authored five design books, collaborated on projects ranging from hotels to home collections, and contributed on-air to networks including the BBC and Bravo.
Alongside this, she serves as an Executive Board Member of Global Empowerment Mission, working on the front lines of disaster relief. This has included regular deployments to Ukraine since the invasion, where she supports both immediate and long-term recovery efforts. Hicks is also a Patron of The King’s Trust, supporting young people facing disadvantage to build independent futures.
She lives in the Caribbean, where she raised her five children, and continues to balance creative work with humanitarian initiatives.
