Alabama Symphony Orchestra presents Barber + Saint Saëns Masterworks Concert

Music Director Carlos Izcaray opens the 2024/25 season with Shostakovich’s Festive Overture. Described by Shostakovich as “festive or celebrative in spirit,” It begins with a brass fanfare which later reappears.
