
Annual Celebration of the Arts
Join us for an evening of celebration honoring the many members of our community who play an integral role in supporting and advancing the arts. This event is open to the public to celebrate the arts community at UAB Center for the Arts. The evening will include a preview of the programming planned for the year ahead and the presentation of the ‘Champions of the Arts’ awards to the following honorees:
Annie Butrus, Distinguished Volunteer
Jemison Investment Company, Distinguished Corporate Partner
Allen Montgomery, Distinguished Service
The evening will begin at the Alys Stephens Center. You will have an opportunity to preview upcoming 2026-2027 programs for AEIVA, ASC, ArtPlay, and Arts in Medicine. Following the program, please join us across the street at AEIVA for a reception and viewing of the exhibitions In the Moment: Recent Acquisitions to AEIVA’s Permanent Collection and Erin Jane Nelson: Living and Working.
