Musical Theatre Summer Camp Stagecraft & Production Camp: Disney’s Newsies Jr.

This three-week camp is perfect for teens who love theatre but prefer to stay out of the spotlight—or maybe learn how to operate it! Guided by some of the region’s best technical theatre professionals, campers will explore the arts of lighting, sound, and stagecraft while supporting the Intermediate Musical Theatre Camp’s production of Disney’s Newsies Jr. from behind the curtain.

No prior crew experience is needed—just a collaborative spirit and an eagerness to learn how theatre magic is made.

Cost before March 15 – $850
Tuition includes:
  • 15 days of camp
  • 2 performances on Friday, July 24, 2:00 & 6:00 p.m.
  • 2 complimentary tickets per performance
  • Camp T-shirt
  • Professional photography of production for free download after camp
Tuition does not include:
  • Additional complimentary tickets; additional tickets ($5) will be available for purchase starting the first day of camp
  • Daily lunch; students bring a packed lunch
  • Before and after care (available to purchase as an add-on)
