Teaching Artist Luca Bela G. Webber
This class introduces foundational vocal techniques alongside basic music theory, with an emphasis on solo performance and vocal endurance. Students will work both in class and at home, learning new methods to approach songs and applying them to a semester-long piece. Through practice, performance, and peer feedback, students will develop vocal confidence and acquire tools that can be applied to all areas of musical life.

Artist bio:
Luca Bela has been a teaching artist at UAB’s ArtPlay for the past four years and is excited to offer a class in vocal performance to students. She has studied and practiced voice for many years, including choral training, musical theatre, and jazz.
