Adult Latin Social Dance

Teaching Artist Sergio Rodriguez
Led by Cuban dance master Sergio Rodriguez, this vibrant class will teach various Latin social dance forms, including salsa, merengue, bachata, and cha cha cha. Students will learn how to understand and feel the movements according to the respective music and rhythm styles – both individually and with a partner. Sergio will give cultural context to each of the dance forms. Everyone is welcome – you do not need a partner or previous dance knowledge. This is a perfect introduction to the social dance scene in Birmingham!
