UAB Arts in Medicine Presents Movement for Parkinson's Class
🌟 Movement for Parkinson’s Class – Free & Open to All Senior Adults! 🌟
Join UAB Arts in Medicine for a Movement for Parkinson’s class designed to build coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, control, and confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.
Led by experienced dance professionals from Southern Danceworks, this evidence-based program follows a method developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson’s Group. Each session begins with a seated warm-up before transitioning to standing and moving across the floor.
