Jonathan Lanier is a sculptor originally from Montgomery, AL. He received his BFA from The University of Alabama in 2019 with a concentration on sculpture and ceramics. After graduating, he was hired as a full-time foundry specialist at UA where he assisted in the realization of multiple public art projects around the South. Lanier is currently pursuing an MFA in sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
