Virtual Mental Health Monday Black Mental Health Matters

Join us for an important conversation about the significance of Black mental health led by mental health advocate, Donna Duke-Pope and a panel of local mental health experts. Donna will share her experiences as a Black woman dealing with anxiety and depression, discussing how she manages these challenges. Our panelists will explore the impact of racism, cultural stigmas, and social determinants on mental health, and highlight the importance of culturally competent care and community support. Learn about strategies for fostering resilience, advocating for mental health equity, and supporting the well-being of Black individuals and families.
