Join UAB Arts in Medicine and The American Psychological Association’s 2022 International Humanitarian recipient Major Rtd. Lucy Wairimu Mukuria for a FREE Trauma-Informed Yoga Class
Align and unite bodies, minds, and spirits in the pursuit of restoration and balance in our lives
Trauma-informed yoga creates a safe space for people to pay attention to signs of dissociation and distress that may come up and to stop whenever they need.
We recommend participants wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothing and be prepared to remove glasses, socks, watches, etc.
Please bring your own yoga mat and water.
