National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month Mental Health Monday @ 5:30p
This month’s Mental Health Monday features Dr. Andrew Duxbury, Marva Douglas, and Ellise Mayor!
In honor of June being National Alzheimer’s Awareness month, we will engage in discussion, demonstration and activities to explore the connections among healthy aging, creativity, connection and theatre.
Questions we will address include:
- How can we engage theatre and creativity to exercise our minds as we get older?
- What are simple tools for caregivers to use for loved ones living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease?
- Why is human connection so important especially as we age?
