Indian Dance Workshop
$5 | Walk-ins welcomed or call to make a reservation: 205.975.4769
Notinee Indian Dance, founded in 2006 by Dr. Pia Sen, specializes in a unique ‘Pan-Indian’ fusion style of various classical and folk Indian dance forms. For this workshop, Notinee will teach participants how traditional Indian dance movements and motifs are used to interpret universal stories – be it a beloved fairy tale like Snow White or a commentary about a challenge in modern society. All are welcome – no prior Indian dance experience is required for this workshop.
