A Celebration of Indian Arts & Culture IndiaFest

The Center is proud to collaborate with our UAB campus family and art partners in the Birmingham community to bring you events* honoring the vibrant Indian culture in Birmingham. From Holi celebrations to lectures and from silk screening workshops to performances by Grammy-nominated artists, there will be more than 16 opportunities in April to immerse yourself in Indian culture. Events will take place at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center, Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, Department of Art and Art History, and UAB’s Campus Green, as well as such non-campus locations as Taj India, the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Zamora Shrine Temple. Join us and our community partners as we celebrate this thriving community within our great city.
