Birmingham Committee on Foreign Relations India-U.S. Partnership: Opportunities for Strategic Engagement
Consul General of India, Mr. Nagesh Singh, will address the Birmingham Committee on Foreign Relations for our sixth program of 2016-2017. Mr. Singh is currently posted in Atlanta, Georgia.
He has also served as Second Secretary in Embassy of India in Dakar (Republic of Senegal), with concurrent accreditation to Cape Verde, Guinea, Bissau, Mali, Mauritania and The Gambia (July 2000 to August 2002) and Third/Second Secretary, Embassy of India in Paris (June 1997 – June 2000). He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1995.
Nagesh Singh did his B.A. (Hons) in Economics from University of Delhi and Master’s in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. He speaks Hindi, English and French.
He is married to Pragya Singh and they have a son and a daughter.
