Start your week off right with yoga at the Alys Stephens Center, the first four Mondays in April. Each week will feature a different yoga form, taught by a Birmingham-based yoga instructor. Bring your own yoga mat or towel. No previous experience required – all levels are welcome!
This week, Shawn Galin will teach Power Vinyasa, a rhythmic, energetic, and playful type of yoga that has a strong emphasis on breath and allows beginners, intermediate, and advanced students to be challenged through various postures and movements. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building flow combined with breath work to awaken strength, energy, and flexibility. Bring your own yoga mat (or towel). No previous experience required.
