Teaching Artist David Strickland
Dive deeper into the art and craft of playwriting! In this class, we’ll refine your tools to help you develop your unique “voice.” All are welcome, but this class will most benefit more experienced writers or those who already grasp the basics of playwriting.
Artist Bio:
David Strickland is a seasoned director hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, with extensive experience in directing plays and musicals. He considers Terrific New Theatre his artistic home, having directed acclaimed productions such as “Fun Home,” “The Big Meal,” and “The Nora Plays.” David has also directed at Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Theatre Downtown, and Red Mountain Theatre, and has assistant directed at regional theatres nationwide, from Florida to Connecticut.
