Artists Bio:

Kat Murray and Hannah Lewis bring a wealth of experience and diverse skills to their co-teaching partnership. Kat holds an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Alabama and a BS in Fine Arts from the University of Montevallo. She is a Teaching Artist with the Walker County Arts Alliance and the Workshop Coordinator at PaperWorkers Local.  Kat specializes in printmaking, mixed media, drawing, and ceramics.  

 Hannah Lewis has been a Traveling Art Teacher with the Walker County Arts Alliance since January 2024, where they teach art fundamentals to students across various grade levels. As a freelance artist, she works in pottery, printmaking, fiber arts, and watercolors, guiding students in a wide range of artistic processes, from clay work to 2D and fiber arts. Together, they combine their expertise to offer a dynamic, hands-on learning experience in the arts.
