Artist Bio:
Cindy Free brings vibrant energy and infectious enthusiasm for sculpting into the classroom. As a bronze figurative artist, she focuses on dancers and other graceful creatures. With 29 years of experience directing the Birmingham Ballet and a rich background in ballet, Cindy has an intuitive understanding of the human figure in motion. Her journey into sculpting began with creating sand sculptures during beach vacations, eventually evolving into a passion for bronze to craft lasting works of beauty. Cindy creates limited edition and commissioned pieces, and her work is represented by the Beverly McNeil Gallery in Birmingham, Alabama.
