ArtPlay Fall Classes Drawing Exploration & Mixed Media

Teaching Artist Sam Roberts

Kids will have a blast trying out lots of different art activities! This class uses all kinds of materials to explore different ways to make art. Kids will also learn about the basic elements that make up the amazing creations we see and make every day.

Process-based art is all about having fun and enjoying the experience of creating. Instead of just focusing on the final product, budding artists will pay attention to the steps and moments that lead up to it. By doing process-based art activities, students get to express themselves, make choices, play, discover new things, and learn about the materials we use and how we create.
