The Alys Stephens Center holds a special place in our hearts, and there is no doubt it is an integral part of the artistic landscape of our University and Greater Birmingham Community. We have made so many wonderful memories attending performances and other events over the years. A couple that stand out are:
1. The 14th Dalai Lama visited Birmingham in 2014, and participated in the “Neuroplasticity and Healing” forum.
2. The 2017 VIVA Health Gala which featured renowned violinist, Itzhak Perlma.
